The drugstore are coming out with new lip ranges everywhere! And today I’m going through one from a brand I haven’t actually tried all that much from – Revlon. The brand that’s always in Superdrug and Boots, but I kind of just skim over. However, I noticed these on the stand last time I was there, and decided it was only right I give them a go.
These are the Revlon Kiss Plumping Lip Cremes and look like they’ve just walked out of a 90s kids show. However, they’re £6.99 a pop and come in a total of 5 shades.
The packaging is very reminiscent of something I would had as a child.. you know those gloopy, sticky lip glosses that actually didn’t have any colour to them, and were overall just completely pointless… but somehow made you feel like a princess.
The colour in these is equally as subtle as those lip glosses you used as a child. They’re super pale in colour, but this can actually be quite nice. The product has a nice shine to it, however, there is no real tingly feeling and so I really don’t think they plump all that much.
Overall, a very underwhelming product! There’s a healthy amount of shine to the product, but no real colour pay off and no plumping effect. Basically, all in all, if you’re looking for a plumping lip gloss, go for the Soap and Glory ones, they’re so much better!

I think Revlon tends to get overlooked a lot, as nobody ever seems to talk about them. Gutted that these don’t really plump considering that’s what they’re supposed to do xx

Yeah, however, as you say, Revlon do have some amazing products! I really love their cream eyeshadows!

I agree that they were quite disappointing, but i found the colour range was really nice! but really nice for a basic gloss range haha
