One Week In Lipsticks | September 2018

With Autumn pretty much knocking on the doorstep, or arguably having already started, I’m really loving getting into the slightly deeper, more berry toned shades! I feel like this time of year is my favourite for lipsticks, as I’m really not so much into my pinks and corals as I am into my berry tones

I thought this month I’d include some swatches (see below) as I think I’ve been missing this! However, I forgot about the whole inverted photo thing! So the swatches are in reverse to the images – my bad!

Rimmel Kate Moss 107

Does anything get more classic than this? I feel like this was THE Autumn shade of 2014 and it’s stuck with me ever since! This formula of lipstick is so good and this colour is just gorgeous!

Elizabeth Arden Iced Grape

I received this in a Christmas gift set a few years back and it’s since become one of my most worn lipsticks. I’m not usually an Elizabeth Arden kind of girl, but this lipstick is stunning! The colour is that perfect Autumnal nude/berry colour and the formula is so easy to wear!

GOSH Liquid Matte Lips in Berry Me

I feel like GOSH is such an overlooked drugstore brand, but they do have some pretty great products! This liquid lip is quite thick, and I felt it works much better in layers. However, it’s super super pigmented, long lasting and such a gorgeous berry colour (hence the name!)

No.7 High Shine Lip Crayon

The colour has actually rubbed off this over the years! But that just shows how much I’ve used it! These No.7 lip crayons are not super pigmented, but they are super glossy, SOOOO comfortable and the easiest things in the world to apply. Great for everyday

Illamasqua Lava Lips in Vixen

Received in an advent calendar last year, this is actually a super pretty pink toned nude and it’s actually a really lovely formula!

One Week In Lipsticks | September 2018 | Swatches

NYX Powder Puff Lippie in Best Buds

These are such an unusual formula, I feel like you need to go into a store and swatch them to entirely get what it is. Effectively it’s a sort of damp powder formula that creates such a beautiful natural look on the lip! It’s great for ombre lips and it really does have a hardly there feel on the lips!

Trifle Cosmetics Lip & Cheek Jam

I feel like this is a new obsession of mine! It’s single handedly the easiest lipstick to wear ever! It gives you lip a healthy shine and a little bit of colour (almost looks like you’ve eaten some red berries), and it wears really well!

What have you been wearing on your lips recently? Feel like I’ve actually managed to dig out some old favourites and try some new things this month!
