The colour of the Summer, and probably for the rest of the year, has definitely and will definitely be Yellow! It’s literally a colour I’ve become obsessed with! I find it’s a colour that seems to really suit me and it’s something I always find I gravitate towards… because… well it’s a happy colour! As cheesy as that is!
Some of these things I bought from Bournemouth (check out the haul here), a few things are from Primark, the earrings are from Dorothy Perkins and the shoes from M&S! I’ve also put a little yellow wish list down below…
I really want to start talking about fashion over here on my blog because I really have started to put together a wardrobe full of clothes I really love! I’m slightly obsessed with shopping at the moment and I always feel much better if I post about it… because it makes me feel like it was constructive… it makes sense to me ok?
These earrings are from Dorothy Perkins! I’m literally obsessed with tassel earrings at the moment, and I’m kind of obsessed with big, bold, earrings in general! I’ve recently bought a million earrings from a shop called Lovisa which I’m sure you’ll see at some point, and I’ve bought many an earring in the past from Primark and DP. I feel like earrings have the power to amp up any outfit!
I feel like I actually used to tease my dad for wearing corduroy and completely cringe at pictures of myself as a child wearing bright purple corduroy trousers… however I feel like they’re making a come back. And in my favourite yellow/mustard colour, they’re actually pretty cool. Plus, pinafore dresses are super cute! I love pairing mine with a thick jumper to make them more suitable for colder weather! Both of these are from New Look – a shop I’m obsessed with at the moment!
I’m not usually one for a full length dress as I don’t find them that flattering, however this one is gorgeous! It’s super flattering around the waist, the little cutout shows off the slimmest part of my body and because it shows a little skin I don’t feel grannyish in my full length dress. Plus, it’s in yellow… so we’re sorted! Also, I’ve sort of come to terms with the fact I’m a member of the itty bitty titty committee! and I’ve really started to embrace it!
Hopefully this first fashion post will go down well! Bare with while I work out how to take photos with a DSLR camera on your own when you’re not there to focus it…
Yellow is literally the best colour at the moment and it’s almost become my new black! It’s a colour I can’t stop buying and so I’ve put together a cheeky little wishlist of items I wish I could by from New Look!

I feel like it such a great cross-season colour! <3 x
I absolutely love yellow – I’ve been wearing light yellow on my nails this summer and now it’s autumn I’m wearing a lot of mustard-toned clothing 🙂
