Empties | July 2018

I seem to go through so many products every month it’s somewhat scary… however, here I am again with another empties! I can’t believe July is over! August is the most exciting month with a new job, a holiday and… do I need to list anything else?! So here are all the products I’ve finished last month!

Spotlight Teeth White Strips | I’ve never used Whitening Strips before, and I actually really loved this! As someone who drinks tea… a lot… my teeth are not at their whitest and I felt like these actually made a difference and I really want to get some more!

Kueshi Double Effect Makeup Remover | This worked, but I think I prefer the one by Garnier… or like any of the Drugstore skincare brands

NYX Matte Finish Setting Spray | I really loved this setting spray… however it wasn’t that mattifying… just it wasn’t glowy

Body Shop Frosted Berries Body Scrub | I LOVED this body scrub, unfortunately this is a seasonal scent… however the Body Shop body scrubs are great all round

Alpha H Liquid Gold | Since learning to not use this everyday… I’ve actually really enjoyed starting to use it!

Soap & Glory Hand Food | This is a great hand cream and I really enjoyed it! However, I would definitely repurchase the Body Shop ones… ok I’m obsessed

Galinee Body Milk | This was a really lovely body moisturiser.. it is a stunning gel-cream formula and my skin just lapped it up!

Body Shop Raspberry Body Scrub | Ooh another Body Shop Body Scrub… literally love these!

Molton Brown Gingerlily Body Wash | If I was super rich I would definitely buy Molton Brown shower gel.. it feels amazing!

Aussie Repaire Miracle Shampoo and Conditioner | A great shampoo and conditioner, but I still prefer my Herbel Essences… so for the first time in forever, I’ve picked up Herbel Essences!

Nip + Fab Glycolic Fixing Pads | I use these everyday and I’ve had about 10 pots of these… they make my skin look and feel super healthy and I will continue to buy there

Revolution Conceal and Define Concealer C2 | This really deserves all the hype it’s getting! It’s a great concealer, just a shame you go through it so quickly

Philip Kingsley Elasticizer | I’m not actually the biggest fan of this stuff… I know so many people love it, but I don’t see that it does much for my hair

Filorga Meso Mask | Not sure I would repurchase this, it doesn’t do enough for me

Percy & Reed Wonder Balm | Percy & Reed is that haircare brand I really can’t get on board with, so not sure I’d repurchase this

Greenfrog Botanic Natural Body Wash | If you like a subtle scent in your body wash, you’d probably love this, however, I love something with a little bit of a stronger punch to it’s scent. So I would chose the Body Shop shower gels..

Mystic Black Novex Hair Mask | This was actually really nice! It made my hair feel and look super healthy

PK Prep Polishing Balm | Another thing I really enjoyed for my hair… I would say I’m still a hair oil person as opposed to a hair balm person, but this was definitely a good one

Garnier SkinActive Volcano Mask | I love these for that simple, basic hair mask because they’re super affordable and one use! Will probably pick up at some time or another

Body Shop Strawberry Body Polish | This is my favourite shower thing ever! I nice hybrid between a body scrub and a shower gel this just feels and smells incredible! I’ve had many of these over the years and will definitely repurchase!

Skin Republic Bubble Purifying Charcoal Mask | This is good fun! It is in essence a bubble sheet mask. However, I really don’t feel like it does that much for your skin… and so, while it is good fun, not sure I would go out and pick this up

Amie Matte-Finish Moisturiser | Another one of those moisturisers I like but don’t love

NYX Precision Brow Pencil | I think this may have overtaken by Maybelline Brow Satin…. purely because it has a spoolie on one end… it’s more useful than you know!

Skimono Beauty Masks | This was a foot mask that was actually really lovely to use! You could still walk around while it was on, making it not at all inconvenient and my felt felt super soft afterwards

Sally Hansen Maximum Strength | This isn’t actually finished, but more dried shut! However, base coats are super important! I used a green nail polish without a base coat and now my nails are stained yellow… really not great!

Bourjois Radiance Reveal Concealer | My favourite under eye concealer, this has good coverage without being too thick and I literally love it! I’ve had a million of these, and I will continue to buy them!!

Just For Feel Jelly Foot Soak  | This was such a great foot soak as it is a kind of jelly you stick your feet in… literally makes your feet feel amazing!

REN T-Zone Control Cleansing Gel | I feel like there are very few face washes I use and don’t like, and this is another one of those I like… not love… but definitely like.

Galinee Face Mask & Scrub | OMG I loved this so so so so much! It left my skin feeling super soft and looking super healthy… I would totally buy this again!

L’Oreal Mattifying Primer | First and foremost I love the packaging of this primer, it looks gorgeous! But also, the product on the inside is also amazing! This is a really great all round primer and I will definitely repurchase at some point!

Crabtree & Evlyn La Source Hand Therapy | This was a nice hand cream, but there are definitely others out there I prefer..

Monuskin Eye Cool Gel | I’m not convinced by the whole Eye Gel thing, it kind of felt like it didn’t really do anything, and so I’m 100% on the eye cream trend!

Revlon Photoready Prep, Set Refresh | This has literally the nicest spray of any setting spray I’ve tried! It was so gentle and refreshing and this spray really worked!

Another month over, here’s to the next one!
