For those of you who have never seen one of these over on my blog before, I spend a week forcing myself to stop using the same lipstick everyday and wear a different lipstick everyday for a whole week! I then make note of it, and come over here to share with you exactly what those lipsticks are.
As you can probably tell, I very much stuck to my nudes this week! 5 of the 7 lipsticks this week are nudes… and one of the reds is a stain as opposed to a lipstick, so basically a nude as well… whoops! Anyway, who doesn’t love a good nude?
Illamasqua Lava Lips in Vixen
This lipstick looks awesome! It has a marble effect that looks gorgeous, but it’s also such a lovely lipstick. The colour is a classic nude, it’s a matte finish and it’s not too drying. Literally a great lipstick!
Doucce Luscious Lip Stain in Steaming Red
Recently received this is a beauty box and this is one of those classic mauvey-pink-nude colours that I head over heels love! This is a nice lipstick formula, I have to say it’s not the best in the universe, but it’s a pretty good one! It dries down super fast and has a weird powdery kind of finish
Bourjois Rouge Laque in Jolie brune
Now this is a lipstick I love, it’s a super easy to apply and easy to wear, plus… it’s that colour that I bet by now you can tell I love! haha! I feel like Bourjois gets lips products so right!
L’Oreal Tinted Lip Oil in Hot Cerise
These have a really strong sweet scent, but once you get past it, it’s beautiful! A lip oil with a red tint that feels like a oil/balm on the lips that dries down and leaved behind a beautiful tint of colour! I’ve used this so many times since I got it and if you’re into those natural, comfortable lips, then you’ll love this!
Mac Factor Honey Lacquer in Chocolate Nectar
If you haven’t read about this over here on my blog by now… where have you been?! Haha! This is one of my favourite lip options of all time. It’s pigmented, so easy to apply, so so comfortable, fairly long lasting and I just love it!
Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick in Fiery
And here is the first non-nude lipstick! And it will be the last! However, this is an amazing red lipstick and the formula of these lipsticks is incredible! They last so so long and this colour is just stunning!
Mac Lipstick in Velvet Teddy
This used to be the lipstick of the moment, but I feel like it’s kind of taking a back seat… kinda. However, it’s my favourite lipstick. If I don’t make myself write these posts every month I would probably only wear this, the Max Factor Lacquer and a liquid lip by Morphe… and then nothing else.. ever!
