Makeup, Skincare & Haircare product empties
Makeup, Skincare & Haircare product empties

Back again with another product empties post, I seriously don’t know how I manage to get through so many product each month.. but here we go again, with a million and one mini product reviews of products I’ve used up this month…

The Body Shop Frosted Berries Body Butter | Would it ever be an empties of mine without way to many Body Shop products? Probably not! Their body butters are definitely one of my favs and this scent was delicious. It was a Christmas scent, but hopefully it comes back next year!

Garnier Skin Active Micellar Water | This is easily my favourite micellar water. I tend to go for the Simple one because it’s cheaper, but I do think this one is better. It removes makeup, leaves your skin feeling super fresh and I just love it!

Sure Bright Bouquet Anti-Persperant | I mean, pretty much an essential, but a pretty good one!

Oskia Renaissance Mask | This is single handedly one of the nicest skincare products of all time (slightly an oxymoron being single handedly one of.. but still). It feels so luxurious and gentle on the skin. However, it is breathtakingly expensive, and so I don’t really think it’s worth it!

Gillette Satin Care Olay Violet Swirl | This is just another essential that’s pretty good

Body Shop Strawberry Clearly Glossy Conditioner | Oh look, more Body Shop.. and this isn’t the end of it. However, I’m really not that impressed with Body Shop haircare, I really feel like it’s the miss of the range.

Nivea Exfoliating Scrub | A really great, simple, everyday scrub that really just works

John Frieda Frizz-Ease 6 Effects Serum | This is an amazing hair serum/oil/thing. I used this up super quick and I will definitely repurchase… once I’ve used up the rest of the hair serums I have.. which will take some time

Alpha H Liquid Gold | Now I’ve learnt how to use this properly, I actually love it. It works really well as a chemical exfoliant and, I’m not sure I’d repurchase, but if it ever came back into my collection in a beauty box I’d definitely use it up

Imperial Leather Foam Burst in Unicorn | I really don’t like this as an actual body wash, and this scent is way to sweet and so I’d probably go for a different scent. However, it actually works really well as a shaving gel and I will definitely repurchase for that reason!

Banana Boat Aloe Vera Gel | I’ve been using this for as long as I can physically remember, and with all the Summer weather we’ve been blessed with in the UK recently, I’ve worked my way through a whole bottle. It’s literally the best affordable after sun care ever! Tip: Store it in the fridge for that super cooling sensation!

Body Shop Makeup Setting Spray | This is definitely one of those wet setting sprays, you know the kind where you get drenched. However, if you look past this it’s actually a pretty good setting spray and I would definitely recommend!

Superdrug Vitamin E Gentle Micellar Water | I really don’t think this removes eye makeup very well, in fact, it just really doesn’t. However, it is a nice soft micellar water, just maybe as a second step. And, because I’m lazy, I probably won’t repurchase because the Garnier and Simple Micellar Waters are just so good.

Caudalie Vinosource | A great simple and easy and lightweight moisturiser for Summer!

Skin Republic Bubble Purifying and Charcoal Mask | So this is a sheet bubble mask, which is really cool, but seriously don’t forget to massage the packaging before you take out the sheet mask… or it won’t bubble. I don’t think it did a huge amount, but it was a fun to use!

Omorovicza Queen of Hungary Mist | I felt so bougie when I used this product and the mist was so lovely (like super gentle). However, I really didn’t see any big different when I used it, and so, with the huge price tag, not sure I’d repurchase…

Body Shop Tea Tree B.B. Cream | Probably the best BB cream I’ve tried, and if you can get past the super string Tea Tree scent, I couldn’t recommend enough! It has a good light to medium coverage, doesn’t look to heavy on the skin and feels super lightweight, also has some great skincare benefits… only issue is the shade range though (very limited)… on and the scent!

Batiste Dry Shampoo in Rose Gold | I feel like every beauty guru ever has used this, and I really know why, Batiste is just the best and this is by far my favourite scent!

Makeup, Skincare & Haircare product empties

Rodial Dragons Blood Sculpting Gel | I actually quite liked this, it was a nice serum-style product.

Rodial Stem Cell Magic Gel | Another nice serum-style product, not sure I’d repurchase with necessarily, but they’ve definitely got me intrigued enough to want to try more Rodial products

Elemental Hero Logo Cell Plumping Facial Hydrator | I definitely preferred the Rodial ones, there was nothing wrong with this, but I just wasn’t wowed by it.

Caudalie Vinosource Serum SOS | Wow so many serums, feel the same about this as I do about the Elemental.. wow feeling so negative!

Rimmel Match Perfection Concealer | This is an amazing medium coverage concealer. It’s much less heavy than concealers like the Collection Lasting Perfection concealer, but a tad heavier than the L’Oreal True Match one. I would definitely repurchase, but I do have to say you work your way through them pretty quickly.

Gosh Brow Gel | My favourite brow gel ever. When I can get down to a Superdrug that sells Gosh (not all of them do.. it’s very annoying) I will definitely repurchase this!

L’Oreal True Match Concealer | I loved this as an under eye concealer because it was so light in colour and feeling and I found it didn’t crease much on me (if set with a good setting powder). I will definitely repurchase this!

Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer | I feel like drugstore gets concealers just so right, and this is where it all started. This is a great blemish concealer and I completely love it for that! Have repurchased a million times and will continue to repurchase a million more (for some reason that makes me think of a song lyric, but I can’t put my finger exactly on which one).

Benefit Gimme Brow | I mean who hasn’t tried this? I’ve been using it since it was in the old packaging and I do really like it! However, since the days when I just put this in my brows I’ve fallen in love with brow pencils. So, not sure I would repurchase this for a while, but it’s definitely a good product!

Max Factor Brow Shaper | This is a super fine brow product that is just so so easy to use. This is a perfect colour for me and I just absolutely, head over heels, loved this! You do go through it pretty quickly, but I would definitely repurchase.

Woah, we’ve got to the end of it! What products have you finished this month?

  1. You’ve used up so many products! Hopefully the body shop bring back Frosted Berries this Christmas, I never picked anything up, but I’m seriously regretting it! Also need to get some Banana Boat Aloe Vera Gel for my next holiday!xx

    1. It was the best scent! That and the vanilla one, I wish they would add them to the permanent range 🙂 and Banana Boat has been my favourite for ages! haha! Just a basic and simple product!
