Empties | April 2018

I feel like every month I get to the end of the month and think I haven’t finished a single thing, and then I get the box down from the top of my cupboard (where I chuck all my empties throughout the month) and I realise I seriously do have issues! I really can’t work out how I finish SO many things every single month. But I do. So here we are again, with another monthly empties. Herbel Essences White Strawberry & Sweet Mint Shampoo & Conditioner | Would it really be an empties of mine without these? Probably not! I literally love Herbel Essences, and these are definitely some of the best from the range! Smells delicious.

Simple Cleansing Facial Wipes | I don’t actually use these on my face, more to wipe off swatches and things. But I really do love these and I get through them all the time.

John Frieda Full Repair Shampoo and Conditioner | I think these are ok, but nothing super special. Would definitely choose by Herbel Essences over these, and they’re much cheaper!

Batiste Dry Shampoo Rose Gold | It’s been a while since I’ve finished one of these! But these are by far my favourite dry shampoo and this scent is delicious!

Dove Go Fresh | Deodorant… does the job… do I need to say more?

Grow Gorgeous Scalp Detox | Like what was this? It just didn’t work, the grit wasn’t strong enough to do anything to your scalp, but it kinds gave that impression of coming back from the beach and then finding sand everywhere for months after… not about that life.

Revolution Pro Fix Amazing Makeup Fixing Spray | I think I’ve finished 4 of these now.. maybe 5. Basically it’s my favourite setting spray, and it’s super cheap. So it’s a win win.

Luseta Coconut Milk Hair Mask | This made my hair super super soft… possibly too soft. But if you suffer from course hair, you will probably love it! Just don’t like the smell of coconut…

No.7 Protect & Perfect Intense Advanced Day Cream | I think No.7 skincare is one of the best! This was just a really nice day cream, would definitely recommend!

The Body Shop Banana Hair Mask | This smells like actual bananas, as opposed to that fake stuff, so definitely thumbs up there! There was nothing bad about this hairmask, but it was not super nourishing.. so it’s just like a standard conditioner.

Provoke Touch of Silver Intensive Conditioner | I always think this brand’s products always smell a little… odd. But it does do such a good job of conditioning! It makes your hair look and feel super healthy! Not sure it does much in the way of brassy tone reduction… but just for it’s conditioning quality, I definitely use this!

Lipsy London Fragrance | A super sweet fragrance, this lasts pretty well on the skin and the bottle is adorable!

Body Shop Satsuma Shower Gel | Another one of those things that will ALWAYS be in my empties. I love the Body Shop shower gels, they feel lovely on the skin, foam up really nicely and they smell AMAZING!

Soap and Glory Rich and Foamous Shower Gel | Another one of those shower gels I always repurchase, another strong option.

Soap and Glory Flake Away | I liked this body scrub, and it did the job… I just prefer the S&G Breakfast Scrub. And I feel like it will be that one I repurchase.

Simple Micellar Water | Another firm favourite of mine! This just does the job and it’s super cheap

Caudalie Vinosource | A great super light moisturiser option!

Soap and Glory One Heck of a Blot | This is basically my favourite pressed powder to travel with! The packaging is sturdy, the powder does a great job and it’s super affordable!

The Chemists 24 Hour Aqua Repair | This did a fine job. I think I prefer the one I’m using at the moment (tune in to next month), but I wouldn’t not recommend it…

Body Shop British Rose Hand Cream | I think Body Shop and No.7 do the best hand creams, so would definitely repurchase this.. just maybe not in this scent

Korres Shower Gel | This is a much softer scented shower gel than normal. Is it entirely my thing though? No.

M&S Ultimate Sleep Cream | This was actually a really nice night cream, had that really thick and luxurious feeling and would definitely be interested in picking up another one!

Benefit POREFessional | I think this primer was absolutely fine, and I don’t have a bad thing to say about it… except I just prefer my Smashbox PhotoFinish Foundation Primer… sorry Benefit!

Codage Masque Micro-Peeling Mask | This made my skin feel SO soft! I had texture on my chin and it was gone. Completely gone! I would be so interested to see how much this actually is!

Nip + Fab Glycolic Daily Cleansing Pads | Another one of those items I always have in my empties. I’ve been using these daily for over a year and I honestly don’t know what my skin will look without them now! Love love love!

Models Own i-Definer Eyeliner Duo in Brown | I never use the pencil side of this, but the pen side of these eyeliners are one of my favs! And this brown colour works really well for us pale girls where black is just sometimes too harsh!

Balance Me Wonder Eye Cream | A really nice eyecream, but I honestly prefer my Superdrug Vitamin E Cream and it’s much cheaper!

LUSH Bubblegum Lip Scrub | This lip scrub tastes amazing and does amazing! Would definitely recommend

NYX Lingerie in Exotic | The first lip product I’ve ever finished… just LOVE! This colour is the perfect nude for me (a pink undertoned nude), the formula is incredible and I just love it! Will definitely repurchase.. not that I need any more lip options!
