Let’s all face it, Bloggers are awesome… but they’re also detrimental to our bank accounts! Most things I buy are for review purpose, but sometimes – just sometimes – I buy something I just want because I’ve seen a blogger or all bloggers raving about it.
Bourjois Radiance Reveal Foundation | I couldn’t photograph this, because I’ve finished it. But Emily Rose used to RAVE about this foundation and so I tried it because of her (and because it was new… a long time ago). And, it’s actually pretty good. I’ve had 2 or 3 bottles of this over the years!
L’Oreal True Match Foundation | Emily Canham works with L’Oreal all the time, and this is possibly her favourite foundation, and so.. ya know… thought I should try it. I haven’t really had an opportunity yet to form my full opinions, but so far so good.
Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer | The first person I saw raving about this was Zoella. But then, not before long, everyone was raving about it. And so… yeah.. I had to try it. And it’s amazing, there is a reason why people love it!
NARS Orgasm Blusher | I think this is a blogger essential (as a lot of products in this). I don’t really wear blusher all that often, but this is a good one.
Body Shop Honey Bronzer | I actually don’t remember who used to rave about this, but I remember buying it because of YouTube… and, if you have pale skin, you will love this! It’s a lovely natural bronzer that isn’t too warm or cool and I just love it!
Benefit Hoola Bronzer | What beauty blogger has not tried this? Seriously, I feel like this is an essential. The blogger that really raves about this is is the queen of the internet Nikkie!
Rosie for Autograph Loose Highlighter in Rose Bud | Another Emily Rose purchase. She used to love this, I tried it. It’s a nice more natural highlighter.
Charlotte Tilbury Face in a Palette | Another blogger basic. It has become my travel essential
Benefit Gimme Brow | I feel like the Boy Brow is the new version of this… however, this was the original and I can’t remember exactly who spoke about this first. but it’s one of those beauty blogger classics
NARS Isolde Duo | Zoella always talks about this in her makeup collection videos and I fell in love with it! And I have to say, it’s pretty amazing!
ABH Modern Renaissance | I mean come on… who doesn’t talk about this?! It’s stunning, I love it!
HUDA Beauty Palettes | I’m not made of money, so I only bought the mini ones. However Tati and Nikkie Tutorials both rave about these shadows…. so I thought I would pick up a mini one, and they are awesome!
Morphe Jacqueline Hill Palette | I feel like Morphe as a brand fits into this, but this one of the most hyped of them all… and honestly I think it’s because it’s the best!
Soap and Glory Supercat Eyeliner | Another one of those Emily Rose products. She used to rave about this a lot, and I bought it because of her. Simple
Benefit Roller Lash Mascara | I feel like it was Lily Melrose who I used to see talk about this a lot, but let’s face it it’s a blogger classic!
L’Oreal Lash Paradise | Oh Tati… you are terrible for my bank account, and here is another reason why!
Rimmel Exaggerate Lip Liners | You know what? No one talks about these much anymore! But I remember when they were huge! And they are amazing lip liners. Highly recommend
Topshop Lipsticks | The amount of times I’ve written Zoella in this blog post actually makes me cringe, but she was the first blogger I found and so a lot of my old old favourites are because of her…
Mac Velvet Teddy | Do I really need to say anything? Really?
Zoeva Brushes | Nikkie tutorials loves these, as does Zoella, as does Manny MUA, and pretty much everyone out there.. and I love them! Morphe fall under this category too… but I honestly think Zoeva is better.. Also Real Techniques… keep an eye out, I’m doing my Top 10 from the brand soon!

Lily Pebbles inspired my first two MAC lipstick purchases and they are two of my favourite shades! A blogger inspired me to get the Body Shop bronzer too – it’s the perfect shade that doesn’t look muddy or orange. The Collection concealer is my fave!
I didn’t even realise the Body Shop did makeup (despite having gone in there a million times) until a few bloggers pointed it out 😛
I’ve been wanting to the TBS bronzer!

I do love it! I saw the old packaging the other day and id completely forgotten how different it used to be!
I love the ABH Modern Renaissance palette & the Jaclyn Hill palette; they are stunning. Unfortunately the L’Oreal True Match foundation broke me out super bad (:(), I really wanted to love it. And believe it or not, I’ve never tried the Benefit Hoola Bronzer or the NARS blush even though I’ve wanted to for ages…maybe those will be next on my list.
Oh such a shame with the L’Oreal foundation! I’ve been enjoying it… with Hoola, it’s such a classic, but the original one is quite dark. And the Nars blush is very pretty too 😊 x
I’ve heard some people say the original Hoola is fine for fair skinned gals (like myself) and then others share your thought that it’s too dark. I wonder if the Hoola light would be a good option. Every time I look at it in the pan, I think it’s too light, but maybe it shows up on the skin better than I think.
I have the original, And it is absolutely fine if you use a lighter hand… you just need to be careful you’re not too heavy handed 😂 never used tbe light one though.. 🤔
Estée Lalonde (formerly essiebutton) used to rave about the body shop honey bronzer, not sure if that’s who you’re thinking of but she made me buy it 😂
