The Rimmel Kate Moss everything are solid favourites of mine, the formula, packaging, pricing and everything of this range is on point. The contour kit, in identical packaging, is one of my firm favourites for travelling and comes everything with me. The bronzer, blush and highlighter in that palette are all beautiful powders with a natural and elegant finish.

And here Rimmel goes again, launching a new item. This time the Rimmel Kate Sculpting Palette in Not So Shy. It states online that it’s still a sculpting palette, with a highlighter, bronzer and blusher… but this palette is full of three different tones of blush, so I have no idea what they’re on about.

However, putting that aside, this is a beautiful palette. With 3 different tones of blush, two with shimmers in and one with a more matte finish, this palette suits every look and every skin tone.

The formula is pigmented, but it doesn’t come out clown like, and easy to blend. It’s relatively long lasting, makes you look alive and healthy, and overall a solidly good blush.

The packaging is basic and simple but I kinda like it. And for £6.99 for three well-sized pans, you really can’t complain!

I’ve seen, floating about the internet, a bronzer-like equivalent, and so I’m very intrigued to try it. However, this one definitely gives a thumbs up from me.

Have you tried this? If so, what are your thoughts?

  1. For some reason I always seem to shy away from Rimmel, but this definitely looks beautiful. And they are definitely full of nonsense calling this a sculpting palette… I don’t think so Batman!

  2. That’s just a blush set in their sculpting packaging, haha! Wow. It looks beautiful anyhow and I remember the sculpting sets being quite popular. X

    1. It took me such a long time to start using blusher. I only started to really love it when I realised it doesn’t just go on the apples of your cheeks, but you need to drag it back a little 😛
