Lipsticks of the Week | January 2018

First week of the new year is nearly over and with it the first lipsticks of the year have been worn. I discovered some incredible lipsticks throughout the year, and I can’t wait to start wearing and discovering more lipsticks throughout the coming year.

Stila Stay all Day Liquid Lipstick in Fiery

A stunning red to start the year. The morning of the first I wore it in with a bright red lip, and then continued to wear throughout the day.

Max Factor Honey Lacquer in Chocolate Nectar

My favourite liquid lip/gloss from 2017, and it will continue to be so into 2018. It’s an easy to wear nude. Perfect for my long journey back from Plymouth, where I spent New Years Eve.

Last day of my holiday before I return to work on the 4th. So another nude, this time my other favourite from 2017. Mac lipstick in Faux.

Rimmel The One Matte Lipstick in 500 Take the Stage

I thought I would go back to work and make a statement. This time with a bright red wine colour, almost reflecting back to the festivities but looking forward to the new year (you can tell I studied Art at A level..). Plus, this formula is one of the best.

Stila Colour Balm in Olivia

There is a review of this coming in the not so distant future, and so I thought I would give it one more wear just to be sure. This is a very balmy textured lipstick, feels super comfortable to wear, but with a very strong scent that can be a little overpowering.

Ofra Liquid Lipstick in Charmed

A deep nude, one of the classics, but definitely one of my favourites.
