Favourite Eyeshadow Palettes (2017)

Eyeshadow palettes. Possibly my favourite makeup item. I feel like it’s the part of your makeup collection you can really invest in and experiment with. They were the first part of my makeup collection I really started enjoying, and alongside lipsticks, they’re my favourite makeup item. So, I thought I wold share with you my favourite eyeshadow palettes, mainly of 2017… and maybe, this time next year we’ll do it again and see what has changed.

Favourite Eyeshadow Palettes (2017)

Violet Voss Holy Grail Palette £40

This is one of those cult favourite that’s also not really spoken about that much… weird huh? Putting that aside, it is an amazing eyeshadow palette! Full of those favourite warm shades everyone loves so dearly (you’ll see a real trend very quickly). The matte shades Bestie and Wine-N-Dine are stunning and Toffee ( a shimmery gold) is another fav!

Urban Decay Naked Heat £39.50

I still remember this launching and then going to see it in the Urban Decay store in King’s Cross Station, London, like a million times… lusting over it. Then I received it for my 22nd Birthday… and I’ve never looked back! The shimmer shades are stunning in this palette!

GOSH To Enjoy in New York £10.99

When I died the ends of my hair purple this was hands down my favourite palette. It creates a stunning smokey purple eye.. and the highlighters in the top row are absolutely stunning!

Anastasia Modern Renaissance £43

Another cult favourite. I feel like there’s not a soul in the world now who hasn’t tried this palette. It’s one of those iconic palettes that even those who don’t wear makeup can recognise… and I can see why – it is an amazing palette!

Favourite Eyeshadow Palettes (2017)

NARS Isolde £25

I used to watch Zoella rave about this duo all the time. These colours are stunning, easy to wear and match my brown eyes beautifully. And ridiculously pigmented…

Max Factor Smokey Eye Eyeshadow Sumptuous Gold £9.99

This is a lovely little palette, great for travelling, and created the perfect smokey gold eye.

Favourite Eyeshadow Palettes (2017)

Mua Pro Eyeshadow Palette Fire Vixen £5

The cheapest of the bunch, but this is a great cheap alternative. They’re shadows that are pigmented and blendable, but look stunning when built up in layers.

MAC Palette £10-13.50 each

It took me ages to finish this palette and it actually shudders me to think how much was spent on this one palette. However, they really are pretty shades and I wear them often! Plus, they’re super long lasting

Favourite Eyeshadow Palettes (2017)

Zoeva Cocoa Blend Palette £18

My first ‘high end’ palette. Zoeva’s shadows are exceptional, definitely one of the best. And the black in this palette is the only one I can really use to create a smokey eye – because it’s more like a dark grey than a black

Morphe Jaclyn Hill Palette £37

Morphe is another palette with exceptional eyeshadows… one of the other ‘best’… there’s turning out to be a lot of these. This palette is definitely one of the best, with the perfect mix of warm neutrals and bright colours.

  1. I really want that Zoeva palette…. but I’ve so many already! I’ve been using the Modern Renaissance, SOSU by Suzanne Jackson Hot Fire palette, I found it more usable then the urbank decay naked heat even though I love it… and the naked 3 palette! I love all your palettes so pretty!! 🙂 xx

      1. I thiiiiink you can order it from her site directly if you’re interested, I think its a couple euro extra postage if I remember right!! Might be one to keep in mind for a treat yourself moment 😛 x

  2. I love eyeshadow palettes and lipsticks like nothing else! I’m thinking of trying the Zoeva palette, I see everyone’s been raving about it 🙂
