With the Rimmel Lasting Finish foundation being such a cult favourite, I’m always a little frustrated when a brand changes something that has nothing wrong with it… alas, however, here we are the the Rimmel Lasting Finish Breathable Foundation.
The bottle is weighty and feely super luxurious. I’m a little annoyed that they removed the pump, however it’s actually super easy too apply with the mahusive dofer applicator, so I can’t really complain.
The formula is fairly liquidy and so really easy to blend out. The coverage is towards the lighter side, but I guess you can build it up to a medium coverage. However, it does look super natural and pretty on the skin. It’s lasting power is impressive, it kind of fades as opposed to bunches up or creases – but this is mainly down to the fact it is such a lightweight foundation.
However, pair it with a bit of concealer on those trouble spots, and paired with cream contour and blush it is one of my favourite foundations at the moment. I can also imagine this being a complete favourite in the Summer months!

I’ve never tried any Rimmel foundations but this one looks really good and I love the applicator! xx
I loved the lasting perfection foundation until they changed the packaging then made my shade darker and thicker, since then I have been weary trying out Rimmel foundations in fear of getting attached again and having it rebrand. I have been toying with the idea of getting this foundation although the doefoot applicator is just not hygienic enough for me unfortunately..
