Review Max Factor Healthy Skin Harmony Foundation

Max Factor make some of my favourite foundations, and so I was super happy to see they had launched another one, this time the Healthy Skin Foundation. The price is £14.99 (or on offer atm at £11.99 in Superdrug), and it comes in 14 shades ranging a fair selection of skin shades… quite impressive for the drugstore. (NB: I have the lightest shade)

The packaging is lovely! Simple, weighty, with a pump. I wish the lid was opaque so that you couldn’t see your pump is dirty (because they always are), but that’s such a pinickity issue… Overall, love it Max Factor.

The finish is medium-buildable, and it makes your skin look super natural, but perfected and somewhat perfected. It has a semi-radiant finish, and so it’s not super glowy or super matte… making it look even more natural. It blends like a dream – with a beauty blender – and I usually used three pumps across my face.

The lasting power is impressive. It’s not quite a 24hr foundation, but it does a good solid 8 hours, and it doesn’t crease massively either. It feels really nice on the skin, but it does gradually begin to settle on top of the skin… however, spray some setting spray and tap it with a beauty blender, and that’s all sorted. Overall, a very good foundation… and it has SPF 20.

Have you tried this foundation? If so, what are your thoughts?
