I love a quick eyeshadow look, and I love to be able to do my makeup in 5 minutes flat, mainly because I’m lazy, but also because (especially at the moment) I am hectically busy, and trying to keep everything going all at once is a little manic. Essentially I like a quick eye look, and these are some of my eyeshadow palettes and products I use to do this (N.B there are other shadows I use for this, but I thought I would share with you my current essentials. Also I have been loving my Anastasia Modern Renaissance Palette….)
GOSH To Enjoy In New York | This is one of those palettes I don’t know why people don’t rave about. The eyeshadows in here are such good quality, they blend out really well, their pigment is really good, and the packaging is gorgeous. When I had purple in the end of my hair, I reached for this palette daily!
Nars Isole Duo | I had been lusting over this duo for years, and now I have it, I really don’t regret it. Initially I was put off my how they were both super shimmery shades, but they create such a simple burnt copper look, you really can’t complain. And the formula is to die for.
Maybelline Colour Tattoos | One of the quickest eyeshadow products of all time. They come in a nice range of shades, they are iconic for a reason. Easy to apply, give good colour and dimension, and last for ages!
Revlon Colorstay Cream Eyeshadow | I still don’t think these are as good as the Maybelline Colour Tattoos, but they are stunning! And I think they have some shades in the range that Maybelline are missing, and so I love them also.
Miss Sporty Eyeshadow Quad in Smokey Brown Eyes | I used to rave about this all the time about a year ago. It’s just such an easy eyeshadow palette, small, compact, easy to work with, good formula, and super cheap. What more could you want?
L’Oreal Eye Paint in Nude | The formula of these are not impeccable, but the colour selection in this range is really unusual, and there are some really nice shades. This one is a really lovely (shockingly) nude shade, and works really well as a quick eyeshadow.
Charlotte Tilbury Instant Look In a Palette | I love this for a quick face look in one palette – hence the name of the palette…. but it creates such an effortlessly natural, but put together look. And to be honest, it’s actually such good value for money!
MUA in Fire Vixen | The colour range in this palette is right up my street! And you can create anything from the easy everyday, to the more bold looks. It’s a great eyeshadow palette to travel with, and I LOVE it!
Mac Eyeshadow in Cork | I love this eyeshadow as an all over the lid shade, it works really well with other shadows, or on it’s own, but it’s definitely a favourite!
So, there are obviously more palette I love, but I thought I would share with you some of my favourites. What are your quick and easy eyeshadows?
