We all love a good haul, and Beauty Bay is one of those stores I really struggle to control myself. As a shop I’ve only just recently started using, I find a lot of things in this store that I’ve never tried, or I’ve heard so much about. I produced a wishlist a few weeks back, and I think most of the things in this haul were on that wishlist… so I’m not sure if that’s an achievement or an issue.
There will be reviews coming up about these products soon!
First thing first, I bought an excessive number of brushes, all eye brushes. I felt like it was a section of my makeup collection that was really lacking and I have heard so much about both Morphe and Zoeva brushes that I really wanted to try them. I will be reviewing by favourite eye brushes soon, but I have to say I am loving the Zoeva brushes, they are beautiful and high quality and super soft. However, the Morphe ones can be a little hit and miss.
Morphe eyeshadow palettes have become a new favourite of mine, and the colours in this palette just looked right up my street! At £19 for 25 shades, they’re such good value for money. On first impressions, the palette looks awesome, but a lot of the shades look very similar. Can’t wait to try it though!
I have been one of those people who have always used the Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge, but I’ve always heard so much about the original beauty blender. At £16 a pop, I never considered trying one, but as someone who uses a sponge every single day, I thought it was about time I tried it.
beautyblender Sponge | £16.00
The colour of this lipstick looks stunning. I’ve recently started watching Manny MUA and I am completely loving his channel. Also, I have heard so many good things about Ofra Liquid Lipsticks from Sophdoesnails, and thought I just had to try one. And I don’t know if it’s just me, but £11 for a lipstick isn’t ridiculous.
I have recently really got into pink and red toned eyeshadows, and so when I saw this palette from BH Cosmetics I knew I needed it. Plus, I’d never tried anything from BH cosmetics before, and it looked like you had a nice range of eyeshadows, a few blushes, and one (possible) highlight shade, so I thought this would be a great choice.
This palette is sooo expensive, but I am really getting into high end makeup at the moment, and I felt like this is something I just really wanted to try. I was really uhming and ahing about it, until I mentioned it on my wishlist and so many people told me it was such a good palette. And, so it just ended up in my basket… I don’t know how.
This is one of those palettes I have wanted since the beginning of time. Ok that is an exaggeration, but it just goes to show that I obviously want it and it really is something I should invest my money in. On first impression and first tries, I completely love it! But keep an eye out for a review!
Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Eyeshadow Palette | £41.00
I know this was a really weird format to do this haul, but I just thought I’d try something new, I hope you enjoy!
