Initially I was sceptical as to whether I would like this, because I prefer a wand more like Maybelline Lash Sensational/Benefit Roller Lash. However I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised.

I don’t know if your memories span back that far, but around 2 years ago Revlon scraped all their mascaras and replaced them with 5ish new ones with different lids, all claiming different things (one for volume, one for definition, and so on). They had an all-in-one mascara, which I tried, and was not impressed. And recently, they launched a new addition to the range, the Mega Multiplier Mascara. So, from name, you’re not entirely sure whether this claims to be lengthening, volumising, or defining, so you assume all in one.. again.

At a cost of £7.99 it comes in the same price range as most drugstore mascaras, the packaging is sleek and simple, with a matte black tube, and a glossy blue lid. And visually, it’s a nice mascara.

The wand is not one that I would usually gravitate towards, however, combined with the formula of mascara it actually did a really good job! I would say you need to physically curl your lashes first, as I found it didn’t do it for me (like the Maybelline/Benefit mascaras), but it was so quick, and it made my lashes look amazing! I find with these kind of wands, application can be quite messy, but that might just be because I’m useless. But it provided good length and volume without being clumpy. My lashes looks amazing. They didn’t hold a curl amazingly, but better than most mascaras.

All round a good mascara, if you can be neat with application and your lashes can sorta hold a curl on their own.

  1. I got this too, and was expecting big things, I didn’t find it terrible, but my eyelashes are a sad state of affairs on a good day and this just didn’t do anything for me 🙁

  2. I will have to pick this up! Looks like a great mascara! Will try curling my lashes first 🙂 great post

Would love for you to check out my latest blog post xx

  3. I haven’t tried this one but the volume one is one of my favourite mascaras! It can be hit and miss sometimes (think think that’s just to do with how I apply it) but it’s so quick! x

    1. I find it you push it into the base of your lashes and then sorta wobble it on the way up (if that makes sense… probably not :P), then it looks so much better!
