Who doesn’t love hot summer days, wondering around a beautifully landscaped gardens, snapping some beautiful photos, and having afternoon tea? If your hands aren’t up right now, what is wrong with you?
Yesterday I said goodbye to Hampshire and returned back to my family home back in Bedfordshire, and somewhere I wish I’d been to more than once is the Sir Harold Hillier Gardens in Romsey. It is a large garden of 72 hectares containing a lot of beautiful trees, plants, flowers and sculptures. Nestled towards the back of the park is a house which serves traditional afternoon tea and a variety of other snacks. The rest of the garden is sort of divided into different sections; the Winter Gardens, the Pond, to name just a few!
You’re looking at about ÂŁ10 a ticket, but it is somewhere I feel you can get lost for hours, and I really enjoyed my time there. I hope you enjoyed the photos!
