Powder Drawer Box No.3

These boxes aren’t released very often, and they tend to sell out fairly quickly (hence why I missed the second one), but there’s a reason why – they’re fab! So this is the Spring 2017 Powder Drawer! At £35 you get a drawer/box full of skincare/haircare and makeup to try out, and I thought I would share with you my thoughts and feelings of what I received in my box.

Formula 10.0.6 Best Face Forward Cleanser (£10)

With a really nice passionfruit scent this is a really nice soothing face cleanser that foams up. You get a full size bottle which has a lot of product in it.

Marc Jacobs Daisy Eau de Toilette

This is only a mini sample, but I feel like I’m the only person in the world who doesn’t like the whole Daisy range from Marc Jacobs…

Chloe Love Story Eau Sensuelle Eau de Parfum

While I’m not usually a fan of the floral scents, this one has always been the exception. I think it’s the orange blossom.. I really do like it, and if I see it at a good price, I would 100% buy a full sized bottle.

Swarzkopf Color Expert Colour Sealer Treatment (£2.99)

As someone who straightens and curls their hair… and who has dyed it a lot too… and who has spent way too much time out in the sun/wind, but hair is feeling a little worse for wear. And, I have to say, for the price point, this is actually a really nice hair mask!

Glamglow Supermud Clearing Treatment

I selected as my biggest skin concern as having spots… which is obviously normally caused by an oil build up. And so, this is the Glamglow product they’ve matched to my needs (another great thing about this box). With a combination of glycolic, salicylic and lactic acid, this is going to be amazing for clearing up your skin.

Aromatherapy Associates De-Stress Muscle Gel

Not something I can really see myself using, but the idea is that you rub in on aching joints after a work out and it soothes the pain…

Sleek i-Divine Eyeshadow Palette (All Night Long)

This is the smallest and cutest palette I have ever seen. Like literally it’s adorable! But putting this aside, Sleek eyeshadows are really good, and the colour range is gorgeous… I just feel like the pans are possibly a bit small…..

Nails Inc Gel Effect Nail Polish in Poet’s Road (£15)

I actually think these are my favourite nail polishes, I have a few others and I love them! This colour is a stunning vibrant pink, it’s giving my flashbacks of being 7 and being obsessed with this colour, but it’s very pretty!

Neals Yard Deliciously Ella Rose, Lime and Cucumber Facial Wash (£16)

In a stunningly beautiful bottle, this delicious smelling face wash feels light and refreshing on the skin. While it may be expensive (for me), I have to say I am enjoying it, I’m just not sure I would value it that highly….

Neals Yard Deliciously Ella Rose, Lime and Cucumber Moisturiser (£25)

While this is obviously more expensive than the face wash, it doesn’t bother me so much, because moisturisers last ages! This is a super lightweight moisturiser than my skin just soaks up.

Technic Colour Fix Cream Blush and Bronze Palette (£2.99)

Not being a massive fan of cream contour palettes such as these I didn’t have high hopes. All the shades have shimmer to them, and so for me really don’t work as contour shades, however the blushes are pretty… so I feel like I’ll get use out of the 4 blush shades, but the contour shades are a definite miss.

SKYN Iceland Icelandic Relief Eye Cream

While I like the cooling feeling of this under my eyes, it’s texture really weirds me out. It’s a somewhat whipped texture, it sorta feels like greek yogurt… weird right?

Ciate London Liquid Velvet Lipstick in ‘Pin up’

This is a such a stunning everyday mauve-nude. It’s super comfortable, long wearing and I have to say I love it. And now I really want to try some more!

I really like these beauty boxes where you don’t need a subscription, as you get to try out a great bunch of products whenever you want, without committing to every month. And this one is definitely one of the better ones!

Have you tried Powder Drawer? If so, what are your thoughts?
