Cruelty Free Makeup Favourites

So a few weeks ago (maybe even a month ago now) I wrote a blog post listing Drugstore/Highstreet cruelty free makeup brands – read it here. I’m following it up with some of my favourites from those brands. Then I’m going to do some reseach on foundations, concealers and mascaras and then I’ll come back with a full face of Cruelty Free favs; so keep an eye out for that.

However, today I just have 20 of my favourite cruelty free products that I felt like I had to let you guys know about!

Cruelty Free Makeup Favourites

Revolution Blush Palette

At only £6 for 8 blushes, this is an incredible deal! These are some truly pigmented blushes, the packaging is elegent, and the formula is really nice.

Revolution Eyeshadow Palettes

Any of them to be honest. I own a lot of them – both the £4 palettes and the £8 ones. They have good pigment (it varies from shadow to shadow, but on the whole it’s great for it’s price), they blend really well, they last a good amount of time. And, for their price point, I don’t think you can get better…. well except the MUA (which I didn’t include WTH!)

Sleek Blushes

These are beautifully pigmented blushes in the most stunning drugstore packaging out there. The formula is ON POINT.

Body Shop Eyeshadows

They are a cool concept (you can mix and match the palettes), and the formula is pigmented, and blendable. Not the biggest colour selection, but I’m sure the Body shop will expand over time.

Barry M Lipsticks

They’re all amazing actually, but – even though it’s considered both childish and gimiky – I really love Genie! It’s a green lipstick that comes out a really beautiful colour and feel super comfortable. They’re ‘normal’ lipsticks are nicer (I feel) than their matte ones.

Barry M Brow Palette

Not one I use often, as I’m not one for an intense brow. However, for those days I want to do a little more carving, this is a beautiful palette and great for those of use with dark hair.

Body Shop Honey Bronzer

This is the only bronzer that I have managed to make a significant dent in… and that’s because it is awesome! Such a great colour, pigment, blending, packaging, look, feel… ok now I’m just listing words. But I love this SOOO much!

MUA Luxe Velvet Lip Laquer

The one I have is Dash, which is by far the best colour. They’re super matte, long wearing and 100% kiss proof (once dried) lip colours. However, you need to moisturise the hell out of your lips before you apply this, because it’s really drying… but I sort of don’t care. Because I know it ain’t going anywhere when I wear it.

Sleek Contour Kit

Each of the three shades in here are beautiful. The highlight is actually a really nice natural shade, the bronzer is a beautiful balance of warm/cool for those of use with pale skin, and the blush is just that natural colour. All in the sleek… Sleek packaging…

GOSH lipsticks

These are stunning. So pigmented, so long wearing, so comfortable, and come in some gorgeous shades. You should really try them if you haven’t already!

Sleek Dip It Eyeliner

The eyeliner comes in a traditional liquid eyeliner pot and brush format. However, the ‘brush’ is more like the felt tip nip of eyeliners such as the Soap and Glory supercat eyeliner. So it gives you the best of both worlds; the black opaqueness of liquid eyeliners, with the easy of application of a felt tip eyeliner.

Soap & Glory One Heck of a Blot

I hit pan on this this morning. I love this powder, it sets your makeup down and mattifies everything down without being too cakey. It comes with a mirror – great for travelling, and the packaging is beautiful.

Sleek Solstice Palette

Everyone raves about this. And there is a reason why.

Models Own Palette in Nude

This is beautiful. They’re a cream to powder finish, which makes them super pigmented and blendable. There’s not the biggest range of colours in this palette, but still very worth it.

GOSH Eyeshadow To Enjoy in New York

I have fallen head of heels with this palette. The pigmentation is not out of this World… but the colours are just stunning, and they blend out like a dream!

Soap and Glory Supercat Eyeliner

A staple for me, I have used so many of these over the last few years. It’s fool proof, super black, and just love this so much.

Body Shop Lipsticks

These are th comfiest lipsticks to wear ever! They literally feel like a lip balm with the pigment of a lipstick. I love them so much!

Sleek Eyeshadow Palettes

I bought these after Zoella raved about them many moons ago, and I haven’t looked back. I think I owen 4 now (ish) and I love all of them. The palettes have a really great selection of shades that work well together. The lighter shades are a bit meh, but the darker shades and shimmery shades are stunning!

MUA Undress Your Skin Highlighter

If you want a subtle highlighter, go for the Sleek MakeUP one, if you want a blinding in your face OMG SHES GLOWING highlighter, then this is your own. For £3 it’s an incredible deal!

Barry M Nail Polishes

I would be specific and suggest a single range… but to be honest all of them!!! My favourites are definitely the Aquarrium Collection, Gelly Hi Shines and the Matte Top Coat.

So.. there are my choices. I hope you find some suggestions here. Also, if you have any foundation and/or concealer recommendations from these brands? If so, please let me know!
