I’ve mentioned these a couple times across various posts, but I realised I had never actually given them a full on review!? These are the No.7 High Shine Lip Crayons, and let me tell you, I have a lot of love for these!

At £9 a pop they’re at the higher end of the drugstore, but still super affordable.I got mine as part of a set last year (it was £15 for the 4 of them), so they were a right bargain!

They are super easy to apply, super glossy, balmy and unbelievably comfortable. They’re not kiss proof (which is a shame) and due to their balmy texture, they’re not the longest lasting. But, because of how fool proof they are to apply, I really don’t care. Plus, they sort of fade, rather than go patchy or wear away in the middle of your mouth – I really hate that!

Because they’re a fairly sheer formula, they’re a great way to transition into wearing a more bold lip. When I first started wearing makeup I was terrified of lipsticks like Kate Moss 107, and these really helped me to begin to gravitate away from nudes… 24/7.

The four shades I have are Tickle (a vibrant orange), Delicate Pink (as you’d expect a beautiful pink colour, which is deeper than you’d expect), Berry (a wine/berry colour, so perfect for Autumn and Winter) and Petal (your classic pink shade).

Have you tried these? If so, what were your thoughts?

    1. It’s actually really good! Their colour match service is actually awesome. They don’t just match foundations, but help show you what lipsticks suit your complexion also. Even if you don’t buy anything, that alone is worth doing 🙂
