New | Bourjois Red In The City Collection of Lipsticks

Bourjois is one of those brands I completely, head over heels, obsessed with. And they have recently launched their new limited edition Red in the City Collection; 10 lipsticks separated into 5 categories. Each category contains one velvet liquid lipstick and one 24 hours long wear lipstick.

The lipsticks themselves are super creamy and matte. I don’t think they have a 12 hour wear, but they do wear well. They’re comfortable, and pigmented, and I have to say I do love them. The liquid lipsticks vary slightly from colour to colour; the nudes are absolutely stunning, most of the reds are really pretty too!

I only have 4 of the lipsticks – they’re always out of stock in the shops, and so I have 3 of the 4 NEW shades; the rest of the colours in this collection existed to start off with, and have basically been paired up.

Dark Brown Rouge

Exclusive to Superdrug, these are the brown, deep, autumnal reds.

Rouge Bordeaux

A slightly cherry toned red, that’s fairly dark.

Classic Rouge

If you love your classic red this is it (see the lower swatch on the photo above), it’s a beautifully classic red colour that will be timeless forever.

These are, as suggested by the title, a pinky-red.

Poppy Rouge

Last of the collection, these are more of a vibrant, orange tone.
