NEW: Zoella Gingerbread Village Candle

When you work in Superdrug, sometimes the new Zoella launch becomes a bit of an upward struggle. However, this one really caught my attention, and I just HAD to buy it.

When you go into the store, each box has a little hole in the top so that you can smell each of the scents. And while this isn’t the only candle in the range, it was definitely the scent that I wanted – I feel like it’s so different, not one that I would have immediately wanted in a candle, but one what when I smelt, I knew I wanted. And one that is so perfect for the Christmas season.

So, well, the easiest way to describe this scent is Gingerbread. There is no other way to describe it. It’s that really sweet, spicy, cinnamony scent. It smells so stunning, and when you burn it you feel like you’ve been cooking gingerbread. The box is awesome; it folds open to reveal a beautiful photo – each individual candle has it’s own corresponding photo. And the candle burns so well, the scent really fills the room – and fast – and I think these candles are awesome.

Their only real downside, is that they’re £10 each; which, in my opinion, is a lot. So I’m not sure if they’ll be a staple in my candle collection – yes, I have one of those…

What do you think?

  1. I went into boots the other day and they had these in store, the packaging is amazing the smell is amazing but I’m not sure I could justify the price, although I do pay like 21 pound for yankee candles, I dunno, I’m still undecided haha but they look so pretty! xx
