New | Rimmel The Only One Lipsticks Matte

As you are all very much aware, Rimmel lipsticks are by far my favourite brand for lipsticks! I seem to love everything they come out with. And recently in the UK they’ve just launched more lipsticks to their Only One range – more specifically, a Matte collection.

There are 9 shades in this range so far, ranging from nudes, to berries, to a purple. And let me tell you, they are stunning!

These lipsticks are super pigmented, like literally, this is ridiculous! And the colour range are beautiful. The 9 colours are as follows;

750 Look Who’s Talking – A deep brown, sort of mocha colour. It’s going to be perfect for Winter, and not so dark it’s unwearable, but dark enough to not be a nude.

120 Call The Shots – This is one of those orange toned reds that would look stunning in the Summer.

200 Salute – Your classic pink-toned nude.

700 Trendsetter – This is the true nude of the collection.

800 Run The Show – A purple, yup, a purple. It’s actually a really pretty colour, but definitely not wearable.

610  High Flyer – A darker, slightly pinky nude – these colours seem to be taking over the World!

810 The Matte Factor – 1. What a name! A more sort of whine-like colour.

110 Leader of the Pink – Seriously, these colour names are awesome! This is that classic, baby (sort of) pink!

500 Take the Stage – the truest red of the collection.

These are a super matte formula, from basically the minute you apply it. A lot of the darker colours will need a lip liner, because they’re not the easiest to apply – due to the shape of the lipstick. However, they apply really creamy and easily to the lips in terms of number of coats. They are slightly drying (but what matte lipsticks aren’t!), however, they’re really not bad, and they last forever! Plus, if you remember to apply a lipbalm at the beginning of your makeup routine, then your lips will be in great condition for it anyway.

Overall, a great new range of lipsticks from Rimmel! They’re pigmented, long wearing, matte, and they just look stunning!
