I usually post monthly favourites over on YouTube, but recently I haven’t. So, I thought I would share with you over here some of the products that I have been loving recently as we are in that strange transition stage between Summer and Autumn. My favourites are usually a lot more products that this, but these are products that I don’t think I’ve ever spoken about before as being favourites, so I thought I would mention them today!
Sleek Eyeshadow Palette in All Night Long
I have probably mentioned this before. But I am loving my Sleek Palettes at the moment, it contains a great mixture of coppers/golds/nudes/and olive colours – my favs. It’s a great way to transition into Autumn and they’re amazing quality. Sleek eyeshadows are pigmented, blendable, look beautiful, last for ages, and come on!
Elizabeth Arden Iced Grape
One of those deeper, berry toned nudes. Absolutely perfect for this time of year. Really wearable, and a beautiful colour. I love the formula, it’s moisturising, easy to apply, long lasting, and a semi-matte finish. I love how it looks against my skin tone, and with a coppery eye look, this is PERFECTION!
Rimmel Cream Blush
I’m not going to mention a colour, because I love them all! I’m trying to use as much of this as I can before Summer officially comes to the end! They apply beautifully on top of all your makeup, they blend so easily, they’ve got just the right amount of pigmentation. And Rimmel have got this just so right.. except it should have come out 2 months ago.. argh!
L’Oreal True Match Liquid Highlighter in Icy Glow
This is a beautiful highlight. So many liquid highlighters are just so meh. But this is stunning. It’s pigmented, pale enough for my skin, blends out really easily, and it’s a wow highlight! You can make this subtle if you so desire, but you can build it up to be bea-u-ti-ful!
Soap And Glory One Heck Of A Blot Powder
Love this! I was obsessed with the Rimmel Stay Matte Powder for many years, but I love this even more. Formula wise they’re very similar and very much on par with each other. But this just tops it because of one thing – the packaging. For those of you who know, my Rimmel Stay Matte Powder broke, the lid cracked and vanished after not having it that long. This, however, comes in a beautiful, sturdy packaging with a mirror (super handy) and I am in love!
Body Shop Bronzing Powder
With super pale complexion, this was always recommended to be as being a great bronzer! It’s matte, not too warm, but also not really cool, it’s the perfect way to make it look like you’ve spent a bit more time outside, and a little less time sat in your room infront of your computer! It’s blendable, just the right amount of pigmentation, the packaging is adorable. I love this so much! (Side note: I’ve loved all the Body Shop products I’ve tried!)
There you go, my 6 favs right now!
