Bourjois Volume Reveal Mascara & La Laque Nail Polishes Review

Bourjois is one of those brands that I haven’t tried a whole lot of, but everything I’ve tried has been incredible! So, when I saw that Bourjois had some new releases out, I got very excited. I have two (sort of three) products today; their new Volume Reveal Mascara and the (not so, but still relatively) new La Laquq Nail Polishes with the Le Top Coat.

First things first, the packaging of these products are pretty awesome! Boujois have opted for the triangle – a pretty awesome and very underused shape – wow, that sounds weird. But most makeup items are in circles, squares or rectangles… so it’s nice to see the circle get a little love. Plus, your mascara doesn’t roll around while you’re trying to take blog photos!

So, the mascara is a really nice one! It comes with a super flexible mascara wand that allows you to reach every single eyelash, creating a full on beautiful eyelash look. It coats your eyelashes, making them super defined and lengthened, with a little bit of volume. There is no fall out, and I just love it. This mascara is not for those who love a completely full on volumised eyelash look, but for those who like a little bit of everything for everyday – this mascara is awesome!

Onto the Nail Polish. This colour is gorgeous, and very appropriate for Autumn/Fall. It is completely pigmented, easy to apply, only really needs one coat (yes, I know!). The top coat added a good amount of plumpness and glossy finish. The entire process was so quick! All is good… until a day later when every single nail has chipped… argh! The lasting power of this nail polish is naff! For that reason, I would never buy another one, but I will keep this. If I’m ever looking for a quick fix nail polish, it will definitely be this one!
