For those of you who know me, you will know my obsession with Maybelline is real! And so when I found out Maybelline had an entire range of lipsticks I was still yet to try, I HAD to try them! Now that I know exactly how I feel I thought I would share with you my thoughts on these lipsticks.
I currently own 4 of the 6 shades available; Nude Flush, Rebel Red, Possessed Plum and Nude Thrill. They’re all beautiful wearable shades that apply beautifully onto the lips. Like many other liquid lipsticks, these liquid lipsticks need a lipliner to make them super neat. However, after that they stay in place for hours and they wear really well. They’re comfortable, have a very subtle (but not offensive) smell and I feel like these shades really suit me!
The only complaint I have about these – and one which many people share – is that these do not try matte. In any way shape or form. They’re beautiful liquid lipsticks, but they come with a glossy finish, and so do transfer slightly. They’re not matte lipsticks and so they’re wrongly advertised. I feel like if they were advertised and vivid gloss liquid lipsticks their reviews would be significantly higher!

This lipstick was a really disappointing to me. I don’t hate the formula and I think the color selection is gorgeous but I don’t understand why they would market these as matte.
