Goodbye July

goodbye julyI’ve never done one of these blog posts before, but Emily from EmilyRoseMyBlog does these every month and I absolutely love the concept, so I thought I would give it a go! Basically the essence is to round up your favourite days/events from the last month.

July was a heavy blogging month for me, I blogged nearly every day (which I will be doing again this month – eek), and I thoroughly enjoyed it, as I always do. But I wanted to share a few of my favourite blog posts with you;
1. New: Rimmel Kate Moss Lasting Finish Lipstick – I love Rimmel Kate Moss Lipsticks, and so to be able to share with you their new collection was super exciting, but I loved how this blog post turned out!
2. Products I Regret Buying – I felt really self conscious sharing this because I thought I would get so much hate for it, but this is another one of those blog posts I’m so happy with.
3. Holiday to Turkey! – come on guys! My first holiday abroad in over 5 years!
4. My Guide To UK ‘Drugstore’ Brands – I love drugstore makeup and sharing my favourites was just amazing!

Kevin and I went to the zoo! I know the zoo, we are children. But it was actually an amazing day, I really enjoyed seeing all the animals, and I am obsessed with anything cute and fluffy! I feel like it’s something we often overlook as an activity for children, but it was awesome!

Pokemon go! I know everyone is obsessed with this game at the moment, but I can really see why. I find collecting things so obsessive, mixed with one of my favourite childhood games, it makes for the perfect day out. Kevin and I spend many an evening playing this game. It gets us out the house, talking to each other, away from the TV and getting some exercise, so I really think this is an amazing idea!

So the last item started as a tragedy (bit of an over reaction but bare with), but ended amazingly! So I left my phone on a train, and so it ended up miles from where I live and going to pick it up was going to cost a fortune for a phone that needed replacing. So I bought a new phone – and iPhone 5S (I know, still dated, but still), and I’ve loved having a new phone to start with, re-downloading apps and music and having a blank canvas to start with. I have enjoyed this so much!

I hope you enjoy this post, and let me know what you think and what you’ve been up to this month.
