My Blog’s 1st Birthday!!

When I started this blog a year ago (eek!) I didn’t even think I’d keep it going, let alone reach 350 of you and start a YouTube channel! I’m so unbelievably happy and I don’t know where I’d be without you all. I know I’ve been a little quiet as of late, but I’ve been on holiday and so I took a little break.

So I thought I’d just write a short post letting you know my blog story.

First of all go and read my first blog post, it’s scary how much my style has changed! But it was a blog post about my ‘Lipstick Obsession’ and at the time is was the Rimmel Kate Moss Lipsticks – which, by the way I still love! I used to take photos on my desk (hence the green background), and I’d leave them completely unedited. Back during this time I was using Blogger (rather than wordpress) and I was so nervous that I wouldn’t even tell my family I had a blog!

Now, today, I’ve moved over to WordPress, all my family know, and a selection of my friends, I mention my blog on my CV, I have a YouTube Channel, I edit photos (OMG you need to start doing this earlier!), and I have spend like nearly £1000 on equipment and makeup to review over the last year.

I have thoroughly enjoyed the last year! My highlights have to be reaching 300 subscribers on bloglovin’, starting my YouTube Channel, writing my 200 blog post ideas – because you guys loved it so much – and transferring over to WordPress and exploring all the new features!
