Last Minute Easter Gift Guide

I’m not really sure if Easter Gift giving is a thing, but a lot of brands and shops come out with an Easter line full of gift sets and beautiful Easter goodies, and so I guess it must be. So, going round on my window shopping adventures, I have compiled a list of lovely Easter Gifts, just incase you realise it’s one day to go and you’re screwed.

Obviously you can’t go wrong with an Easter Egg, I mean 1. they have Easter in the title, 2. they’re chocolate, and 3. they’re an Egg! But, I thought I would create a list of Chocolate alternatives for those friends or family members who want something a little different.

I simple googled (we all love google!) Easter Cupcakes and these were the first photos to come up. Now obviously most of us aren’t any where near this creative, so you have one of two options really;

  1. Buy them. Supermarkets (TESCO and Sainsbury’s for certain) have a selection of decorated Easter Cupcakes that look adorable, and would be amazing for afternoon tea on Easter Sunday or Monday!
  2. Make some. But make them a lot more simple. Maybe just ice the top of the cake and put mini eggs on top – like in one of the photos above.

Now, I’m not sure how ‘Worldwide’ lush are now, but in the UK, they are huge! For those of you who don’t know; lush is a bath, shower and makeup brand who are animal cruelty free and produce some beautiful ‘handmade’ bath bombs and other equally amazing items. Each Easter, they bring out an Easter range, full of loads of cool things. And to be honest, you can’t really go wrong with a Lush gift!

Tea Cups

Now this is a screen shot from the Royal Albert website – who are a very expensive provider of vintage tea cups. But you can get similar cups from other places, and you can find some gems in Charity Shops (Tip: Charity Shops are amazing for, well, everything). But I feel like these are a really quaint, very British gift that will be unusual but still quite appropriate.

Simnel Cake

I mean I’m not going to lie, when I first realised this was thing I was thinking probably exactly the same thing as you; what the hell is one of those? But, apparently, this is a traditional Easter cake. From what I can work out it’s a fruit cake – hence why I would have never have tried it, and I shall leave you the BBC Recipe here. But if you’re going to someone’s house for Easter, or you’re having a few people over for afternoon tea, I feel like this is the idea ‘gift’ for this sort of occasion.

Easter Bunny Pandora Charm

Ok, so here’s where we get expensive. At £25 this comes out as the most expensive gift, but I feel like it has to be mentioned. Pandora have a few Easter gifts, and this is my favourite! And no girl will ever reject a Pandora charm – that is, if she already has the bracelet for the charm to go on…

This is obviously a gift for children (or big children, I mean I own a Build-A-Bear….), but they have some adorable Bunny Bears in their collection that would be adorable ‘Easter Bunnies’ for young kids when it comes to Easter Hunts. Just thought it would be a cute idea.

Last but not least, you can never go wrong with a nice bunch of flowers. And I feel like Spring is probably the best time of year to gift them. They’re colourful, they’re pretty and no one has ever said ‘no’ to a bunch of flowers. Plus, I grew up on a Flower Nursery as a kid, so I feel like I need to promote the industry…

I hope you enjoyed my little Easter Gift Guide, let me know in the comments if anyone actually gives someone a gift at Easter (that isn’t chocolate)!
