If you read my blog regularly, you will know all about my strange obsession with Barry M (I mean it’s not strange, they are amazing!). But I thought I’d share with you another brand of nail polish that I absolutely love. And they are the Rimmel London 60 Seconds Supershine Nail Polish.

First thing to say is at £2.99 these nail polishes are incredibly cheap. Although, I hate this word. ‘Cheap’ makes it sound like it’s terrible. But, they really aren’t.

The colour range is incredible for these! They come in all the essential colours (red, pinks, blues, purples etc), but they also have a load of nudes which are really great!

Application wise I think I prefer these to the Barry M range. The brush is a really good size and it means you can apply it in only a few brush strokes. It makes the application process a lot quicker. Although I think the 60 seconds thing is a bit of a farce, I find it does dry quicker than the average nail polish. And so the application process a lot quicker than any other nail polishes I own.

I find you only need 2 coats to get an opaque colour (the samples above are only 2 coats). Even for the really pale colours, like Lose Your Lingerie, which honestly is amazing! Especially for £2.99?!?!

The only downside I see with these polishes is that they chip fairly quickly. I don’t know if its because I spend a lot of time doing things with my hands (I find I chip my nails almost instantly when I play my viola for example). But because it’s so easy to reapply, and so to be honest it doesn’t bother me.

Have you ever tried this range? Because I feel like they don’t get their praises sold enough?
